جرم های ریختنی خیلی کم سیمان (ULCC)
برای بهبود بیشتر خواص ترمومکانیکی دیرگدازهای ریختنی کم سیمان، کاهش بیشتر سیمان موردنظر قرار گرفته و سبب توسعه گروه جدید جرم‌های ریختنی خیلی کم سیمان گردید. در این نوع جرمها مقدار سیمان به کمتر از 3% و در نتیجه مقدار CaO به میزان کمتر از 1% کاهش پیدا کرد. توسعه این دسته از جرمها با جایگزینی بخشی از سیمان با ذرات ریز همانند میکروسیلیس و آلومینای راکتیو آغاز شده، کارکرد خوب این دیرگدازها به توانایی پر شدن حفرات بین اگریگیت‌ها توسط ذرات بسیار ریز نسبت داده شده است. پر شدن حفرات باعث افزایش چگالی و کاهش قابل ملاحظه آب مصرفی می‌گردد. از این رو دیرگدازهای ریختنی کم سیمان خواص فیزیکی بهتری در قیاس با دیرگدازهای ریختنی معمولی و کم سیمان از خود نشان می‌دهند.
